What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Mid-Level React Native Engineer, you’ll play a core role in developing key mobile features, optimizing UI performance, and maintaining app stability.

Your role focuses on delivering high-quality production code while actively contributing to feature planning and engineering discussions. You’ll work alongside senior engineers, learning best practices and expanding your architecture skills while taking clear ownership of your deliverables.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product Management, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to shape and deliver engaging mobile experiences for our global fan base.

One day you might be building interactive UI components or integrating backend APIs and state management flows. The next, you could be profiling app performance, fixing edge-case bugs across iOS and Android, or writing automated tests for new features.

You’ll work with technologies like React Native core, JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), modern state management tools (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query), and automated testing frameworks, always with a focus on code quality, responsiveness, and clean implementation.

Alongside active feature development, you’ll participate in code reviews, share ideas, and contribute to continuous improvements across our mobile apps.

Your Background

You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re generally looking for:

• Solid commercial experience building and shipping production-ready mobile apps with React Native

• Strong hands-on proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+) and React Native fundamentals

• Good understanding of modern state management patterns (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query)

• Solid grasp of mobile UI/UX principles, component architecture, and layout performance

• Experience writing unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Native Testing Library)

• Familiarity with debugging tools and resolving platform-specific issues across iOS and Android

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset

• Willingness to work on-site in our Hungary office

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Experience working with native module bridging (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java)

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD workflows and app store publishing processes

• Exposure to real-time data integration, WebSocket connections, or 3D graphics rendering
