Frontend Software Developer

Join a team of professional software engineers to create new functionality for web products. Our client is looking for a creative Frontend Developer with previous experience using JavaScript, for the development of innovative user interfaces for 3D web apps for their offices in Switzerland.

Your tasks:

  • Participate in the design and development processes regarding company’s web viewer.
  • Improve the user experience for editing and exploring 3D content.
  • Implement user interface components for a JavaScript 3D API that can be used in a concrete 3D web viewer.
  • Participate in the whole Development Life Cycle for innovative web app prototypes related to a JS API for:
  • Demonstrations on conferences and customer meetings.
  • Prototyping vertical apps together with teams and business partners.
  • Supporting research activities with universities and creating educational web app programming examples.
  • Work closely with developers and product engineers teams in a highly interactive and creative environment.


Your skills:

  • Excellent JavaScript programming skills.
  • Two years of experience in a software development company.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/science, architecture, cartography or a related field.
  • Ability to meet tight schedules and work in a fast-paced team environment.


Recommendable:

  • Being innovative, ability to communicate properly, with high design skills and a strong passion for details.
  • Real time rendering experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of 3D computer graphics or experience using 3D tools.
  • Familiarity with GIS software (Geographic Information Systems).
  • Agile software development methods experience (SCRUM, Lean, Kanban, Extreme Programming, Crystal, etc.)
