Frontend Software Engineer — ReactJS / TypeScript

About the Role

We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to develop digital onboarding journeys for Credit Cards, Cashline and Personal Loans.

You will build responsive, accessible applications using ReactJS and TypeScript, working closely with Product Owners, designers, backend engineers and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive onboarding journeys from Figma designs, meeting WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
• Build lending features such as repayment calculators, credit-limit sliders, balance-transfer tools and approval feedback screens.
• Follow established component libraries, styling standards and multi-step form patterns.
• Analyse legacy JSP, JSTL, Struts and Spring MVC screens and translate existing business rules into React components.
• Implement form validation, session persistence, draft save/resume and error-recovery functionality.
• Integrate REST APIs and manage asynchronous requests, loading states and errors.
• Write unit and component tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Collaborate with QA engineers on end-to-end journey automation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and technical discussions.
• Maintain clear, reusable and well-documented frontend code.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional frontend development experience.
• At least three years of hands-on ReactJS and TypeScript experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS.
• Experience developing Single Page Applications or Micro-Frontends.
• Practical knowledge of React Hooks, Context API and state/data-management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand or TanStack Query.
• Strong understanding of Micro-Frontend patterns, including Module Federation, Web Components and shell-and-remotes architecture.
• Hands-on testing experience with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling application state, sessions and errors.
• Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, npm/yarn, Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
