Frontend Team Lead - React

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Team Lead specializing in React to lead the development of scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on frontend development experience, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to guide a team of engineers while driving technical excellence and timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of frontend developers.

• Architect, design, and develop scalable frontend applications using React.

• Establish frontend development standards, coding practices, and best practices.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features.

• Review code, conduct technical discussions, and ensure code quality.

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Drive frontend architecture decisions and component reusability.

• Manage sprint planning, task allocation, and delivery timelines.

• Identify technical challenges and drive effective solutions.

• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in frontend development.

• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based development, and reusable UI systems.

• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous operations.

• Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, and Babel.

• Experience with responsive design and frontend performance optimization.

• Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend testing frameworks.

• Previous experience leading or mentoring frontend engineering teams.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering.

• Familiarity with Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or Styled Components.

• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

• Understanding of accessibility standards and web security practices.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
