Frontend Web Developer (React) | Insurance 30K-35K

Key responsibilities

Implement UI features and workflows that integrate with backend services via REST APIs

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across existing web applications

Collaborate with backend teams that operate on Java (Spring Boot), Struts, C#, .NET, and Node.js stacks

Write clean, reusable, and well-documented front-end code aligned with team standards

Support MSSQL-backed data flows through API consumption and front-end data handling

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release activities for BAU enhancements

About you

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Ajax

Front-end web focus (not mobile-native); experience building and maintaining complex web applications

Familiarity working alongside or consuming services built with Java (Spring Boot), Struts, C# and .NET (ASP.NET, .NET Framework / .NET Core), and Node.js

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous front-end communication

Experience working with applications that use MSSQL (via APIs/services)

Experience in insurance, banking, or other regulated financial-services environments

Understanding of security, compliance, and data-privacy considerations in web applications

Good communication skills in English (Cantonese/Mandarin a plus)
