Summary

Senior Associate at KPMG in Singapore advises banks and capital markets on strategy, operations, and digital transformation, leveraging financial services expertise to drive client projects.

The KPMG front office transformation team assists banks and capital market sectors in managing their day-to-day business challenges and developments. We support them on multiple diverse consulting projects that includes:

  • Business growth (e.g. market entry, customer insights, merger and acquisitions support)
  • Operational process improvements across the banking value chain
  • Organisation-wide functional (re)design
  • Digital and technology enablement
  • Programme management

This dynamic role involves (at a high-level):

  • Supporting the delivery of strategy, operational and technology transformation projects within the financial services industry
  • Developing business propositions and thought leadership to take to our clients
  • Working closely with Partners and the team on client management and business development activities
  • Working with other colleagues across the financial services consulting practice to leverage their expertise and insights
  • Keeping up to date with key trends in the financial services industry to drive the successful adoption of innovative solutions for clients

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Banking / Finance / Management / Strategy
  • A minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in business operations / digital transformation / process improvement / strategy
  • A good working knowledge of the financial services industry with experience either working in a consulting firm or banking industry (ideally large Wealth Management or Private Banking organisations)
  • A minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in project delivery
  • Possess strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
