ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. Perform wait staff duties during the meal times; greet guests, offer water and beverages, receive menu orders, communicate with the line cook, deliver orders and assist resident and guests with other dining needs as needed in a timely manner.
2. Clear, clean and set dining room tables as needed in a manner consistent with proper procedures to avoid cross contamination.
3. Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures as assigned and as needed.
4. Follows safety regulations at all times and follows established infection control and Universal Precautions, policies and procedures.
5. Maintain a pleasant dining environment for the residents and guests of the IL.
6. Assist in maintaining wait staff service area and other duties as assigned by the Lead Server or Kitchen Supervisor.
7. Disposes of food and waste in accordance with established policies.
8. Provides documentation of food and equipment temperatures as assigned.
9. Properly labels and stores food items.
10. Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
11. Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
