Security Officer - Healthcare Setting
Location: Sharon, CT
Pay Rate: $22.15/hour
Hours per Week: 48
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 08:00 to 20:00 (4x12-hour shifts)
We’re looking for a professional, reliable Security Officer to join our team at a healthcare facility in Sharon, CT. If you care about safety, enjoy helping people, and want to be part of something meaningful, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors
- Monitor entrances, exits, and overall facility activity
- Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the site
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations calmly and professionally
- Enforce site policies and procedures, including access control
- Write clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Offer excellent customer service and assistance to anyone on site
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Pay
- Fixed schedule: Friday–Monday, 08:00–20:00
- Hours per week: 48
- Pay: $22.15 per hour
- Overtime may be available based on site needs
