* Responsible for coordinating and managing the stations operations activity towards achieving station goals and objectives in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and state contractual obligation.
* Provide direct supervision, guidance, assistance, training and development to all employees assigned to the station.
* Direct responsibility for policy and procedures and quality program implementation and compliance at the station level
* Employ highly competent, qualified management and inspection personnel - and ensure they are properly trained, certified, and developed for increased responsibilities within the organization.
* Responsible for the safety and training program at the station level, to maximize safe station operations, a safe workplace for employees, and to maximize employee participation in all safety training programs.
* Responsible for the stations overall CIP and Quality program performance. Ensures staff development in and compliance with ALL corporate quality policies and procedures.
* Responsible for the administration of all station level Human Resource matters to include, but not limited to *Achievement Evaluation Review, *Effectively manage the Disciplinary Process, *Manage the interview and selection process, *Manage the station safety program.
* Responsible to conduct detailed, quality customer service training with all station staff and to ensure all station management staff perform in a highly effective manner and are capable of managing difficult customer and employee situations to a positive resolution.
* Proficient with all aspects of the stations labor management system and provides direct oversight and management of efficient, effective station staffing in accordance with the programs staffing guidelines.
* Thorough, detailed knowledge of the emissions testing program and testing processes. Complete understanding of the functions of all emissions and facility equipment and control devices. Conduct equipment and device inspections as directed.
* Responsible to conduct staff training and meetings on a regular basis and as directed by the District Manager
* Perform waiver inspections and issue waivers in accordance with OEPA regulations. Also to ensure all station management staff are waiver certified.
* Responsible to provide a positive work environment that builds morale and promotes positive public relations and customer safety
* Responsible to deal immediately and effectively with situations and matters that are raised within the station by employees assigned to the station.
* Responsible to analyze station labor, volume, CIP and quality reports to ensure the station is operating at peak effectiveness and efficiency and within all program, corporate requirements.
* Responsible for the timely submittal of all required management reports and documentation.
