Fulfillment Operations Manager

Discussion
Fulfillment Operations Manager
Position Overview
Fulfyld is looking for a hands-on Fulfillment Operations Manager to coordinate operational exceptions, improve warehouse processes, and ensure that information moves accurately between the warehouse, WMS, Salesforce, billing, and customer-facing teams.
This position works closely with Warehouse Operations, Customer Success, Billing, and Systems & Automation and sits between daily warehouse execution and the systems used to manage it. The analyst will investigate replenishment and receiving exceptions, coordinate high-priority projects, support carrier-service issues, and maintain the operational evidence needed for accurate billing and customer communication.
The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working directly with warehouse teams. This person does not need to be a senior warehouse manager or software developer. We are looking for someone who can learn the operation, solve recurring problems, and grow into broader process ownership.
This position reports to operations leadership.

Carrier service and claims support

  • Prepare operational support for claims, credits and billing disputes.
  • Work with the Billing Analyst to distinguish service failures from billing errors.
  • Track open carrier cases and follow-ups.

Projects and customer operations
  • Coordinate FBA, freight, relabeling, kitting, disposal and other special projects.
  • Maintain project status, requirements, deadlines, and ownership.
  • Support customer offboarding and inventory-release checklists.

  • Help Customer Success translate customer requirements into warehouse instructions.
  • Support high-volume events and peak-season planning.
  • Identify projects that are blocked by missing customer, warehouse, or system information.
Process improvement
  • Maintain operational SOPs and customer-specific handling requirements.
  • Identify repeatable manual work that should be automated.
  • Define operational requirements for dashboards and workflows built by Ryan.
  • Test new processes and automation before rollout.
  • Track recurring causes of exceptions and recommend corrective action.
  • Produce operational performance and aging reports.
  • Train warehouse users on approved procedures, as needed.
