Who you are

We are looking for an engaged, visionary and experienced leader with a strong background in supply chain and fulfilment, with current or previous experience as a Fulfilment Manager. You bring proven leadership skills, operational expertise and the ability to turn ideas and new ways of working into action, with a focus on flexibility, simplicity and speed.

You are a strong people leader who makes things happen through and together with your team. You communicate clearly, build trust and collaborate naturally, acting as a sparring partner to the Store Manager and wider leadership team. You are comfortable challenging, setting clear expectations and holding people accountable, always with love and respect.

You have a passion for growth and keep the customer at the centre. With a commercial store mindset and strong omnichannel perspective, you understand how operations, product availability and customer experience connect across channels. You are analytical, use insights to make informed decisions, and combine strategic thinking with the ability to act quickly and follow up effectively.

As IKEA continues its transformation journey, you can navigate uncertainty, create structure and balance long- and short-term objectives. Curious and open-minded, you challenge convention, think outside the box and enjoy trying new approaches based on evolving customer needs and behaviours.

You are a driven role model for IKEA’s culture and values, motivated to make IKEA Malmö a better workplace and create outstanding customer experiences. Above all, you want to lead the Malmö market together with the Store Manager. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.

For this role, we will prioritize internal IKEA applicants.

About this work area

At IKEA, we empower our teams by delegating responsibility and supporting growth and development while strengthening the business as a whole.

As part of the store management team, you will use your specialist expertise, strategic thinking and operational leadership to identify improvements, develop better ways of working and implement solutions that increase store efficiency.

You will:

- Share your specialist expertise with commercial partners and other functions to create an inspiring and attractive customer experience.

- Lead and follow up logistics development inside and outside the store, taking decisive action to achieve budgeted costs, performance targets and the store logistics plan.

- Create the market business plan with the store management team, based on global and national priorities and local market needs.

- Develop and implement the store logistics plan with your logistics team, ensuring it is well anchored and everyone understands their contribution.

-Coach and challenge managers and teams to turn plans into action, strengthen performance and continuously improve ways of working.

-Your focus will be on turning the Malmö investment into action and results, working closely with the Store Manager to drive the market forward, together.
