Full Stack Delivery Lead

What You’ll Do

• Design and validate end-to-end solutions for complex web and digital platforms;
• Act as a local technical coordination layer between Portugal and international teams;
• Define and govern integration patterns (APIs, asynchronous flows, frontend–backend interaction);
• Ensure secure-by-design architectures, including authentication and IAM principles;
• Oversee release governance, quality standards and technical risk management;
• Support major incidents through technical guidance, escalation and coordination;
• Own solution design alignment across monolith and distributed architectures in either .NET or Java technology stacks;
• Translate business requirements into clear, executable technical designs;
• Guide development teams on architecture, security and DevOps best practices;
• Coordinate multi-environment setups (TST, GTU, UAT, PRD);
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Business and IT;
• Maintain documentation, standards and delivery governance;
• Design and assess system architectures across monolithic and distributed system landscapes;
• Define and apply appropriate integration patterns, including APIs and asynchronous messaging flows;
• Design clear and scalable frontend–backend interaction models, considering performance and maintainability for .NET or Java applications with React or Angular;
• Contribute to CI/CD and release strategy at governance level, including quality gates, approvals, and risk mitigation;
• Apply authentication, IAM, and secure-by-design principles across system and integration layers.

What You Bring

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable technical field;
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in solution design for web and digital platforms;
• Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs and integration patterns;
• Expertise in C#/.NET technologies OR Expertise in Java/JEE technologies;
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor);
• Strong knowledge of SQL (SQL Server/Oracle) and NoSQL databases;
• Practical experience with AWS or Azure cloud services;
• Experience working in regulated environments is a plus;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Professional English (C1 level required in spoken and written);
• French or Dutch is a plus;
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Strong collaboration skills within distributed and cross-functional teams;
• Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability;
• Structured approach to incident and problem management;
• Ability to prioritize workload efficiently in a dynamic environment;
• Legal: Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space nationality to legally work in Portugal
