The work:
In this role, you will have an outsized impact as an engineer to design and build new product features for custom, cloud-native web application or enhance existing features. The work will be done with use of AI tools to augment the developer experience, automated instrumentation, and product development. Experience working with artificial intelligence tools preferred including frontier models from Claude, OpenAI, Google and code assistants to develop, test and integrate enterprise solutions. You will proactively identify opportunities to improve the reliability, scalability, optimization, and cloud modernization. You will design scalable services, engaging UI, and build robust APIs in Java or similar language and demonstrate knowledge of complex, distributed systems, and AWS cloud programming. Contribute to best practices in development and automated testing framework. Work in a client facing, fast-paced and cross-functional environment. Responsible for developing the end-to-end web application features and enterprise platform features of search system, from user experience to backend code. Use development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help our clients improve the services and user experience they provide. Leverage new technologies that can be applied to solve challenging business problems with a cloud first and agile mindset.
Here's what you need:
- Experience in Java and TypeScript with both front-end (Angular, React) and backend technologies (Node.js).
- Comfortable to drive the development of product features with delivery team.
- Experience driving build features from ideation to production deployment, ensuring security and high performance of systems.
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
- Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs
- OKTA, JavaScript, CI/CD, GitLab, AWS certification, AWS ECS/Fargate and agile software development.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
