Full Stack Developer (AI) Associate [Pooling]
Summary
Associate-level full-stack developer at PwC Philippines building AI-powered web applications for client engagements — from quick proof-of-concepts to production systems. Day to day: building React/Vue frontends, backend services and APIs, and integrating LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) for RAG, agentic workflows, and conversational interfaces alongside consultants and data scientists.
You will design, build, and ship AI-powered applications that sit at the heart of client engagements — from proof-of-concepts that win deals to production systems that transform how businesses operate. You'll work alongside consultants and data scientists to turn strategy into working software, fast.
What You'll Do
- Build full-stack web applications (frontend + backend + integrations) that embed AI capabilities — think intelligent dashboards, agentic workflows, document processing pipelines, and conversational interfaces
- Integrate large language model APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, etc.) into client-facing products using streaming, structured outputs, and tool use
- Develop clean, maintainable UI components and responsive layouts; translate design mockups into polished, demo-ready interfaces
- Write backend services and APIs to support AI features — retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, data pipelines
- Participate in rapid prototyping sprints, iterating quickly based on client and stakeholder feedback
- Contribute to internal tooling and reusable component libraries that accelerate future engagements
What You Bring
Must-have
- Proficiency in a modern JS framework (React or Vue) and comfort with HTML/CSS
- Working knowledge of at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, or TypeScript)
- Exposure to LLM APIs — you've called one before and understand prompt construction, tokens, and response handling
- Familiarity with REST APIs and basic database concepts (SQL or NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving instinct; you can take an ambiguous brief and ship something tangible
Good to have
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector) or RAG frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerisation (Docker)
- Any prior client-facing, freelance, or internship experience
