About us

Javac Technology Software Co. builds hosting and dev platforms for open-source CMSs. Our flagship marketplace, DrupalForge, is built in Drupal, and our main app, DevPanel, is Node.js and TypeScript. Next we're building ShopForge for Shopware and WordForge for WordPress. Our developers write most of their code with AI agents, including our own agentic project-management and coding system, so every feature, fix, and decision adds to a shared knowledge base.

What you'll do

• Build features and fix bugs across DrupalForge, DevPanel, and the new ShopForge and WordForge marketplaces.
• Use AI coding agents as your main way of writing, testing, and debugging code, and review everything they produce before it ships.
• Write prompts, specs, and docs that grow our AI knowledge base, so the next developer and the next agent can pick up where you left off.
• Work with feature and hotfix branches cleanly, and ship fixes that don't break other things.
• Send a short video or screenshots as proof with every delivery, and keep daily written updates honest about what's actually done.

Your Skills and Experience

Must have

• 3+ years of professional PHP, with real production work in Drupal 9, 10 or WordPress.
• Working Node.js and TypeScript experience, or a clear ability to ramp up quickly.
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) for both development and testing. Be ready to show us how you work.
• Solid git habits: branching, rebasing, pull requests, and code review.
• Clear written English for async work with a US-based founder and clients.
• Reliability: you hit the deadlines you commit to, answer questions the same day, and ask for clarification instead of guessing.
• Security discipline: you follow access rules (VPN, shared accounts, credentials) every time.

Nice to have

• Shopware, Magento, or Laravel experience.
• Experience building marketplaces, SaaS, or hosting and DevOps tooling (Docker, CI/CD, cloud).
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks or writing automated tests with AI.

How we hire

1. A short written async exercise, in English.
2. A paid take-home: ship a small feature with an AI agent on a feature branch, then a hotfix on a separate branch, with a proof video and a short write-up.
3. A live session where you walk us through your AI workflow and code review.
