The client’s current tech stack includes PHP/Laravel and Vue, so we’re looking for a consultant who are interested and open in working with these technologies.
Previous experience with PHP/Laravel and Vue is not a strict requirement but beneficial. We’re mostly interested in candidates with a strong development background in mixed technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Ruby, Python, Java, or Kotlin, combined with experience in Vue or other modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
What matters most is a solid fullstack development background, strong technical skills, experience from tech companies and an interest in working with and learning the client’s current stack.
Introduction & Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer with extensive experience in both backend and frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to modernize legacy code, transitioning extensive repositories while enhancing user experience. Candidates must have a solid grasp of engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in picking up new technologies.
Main Responsibilities
The consultant will play a key role in improving our code and technology stack.
Refactor legacy code to align with modern development practices.
Move code from repository A to repository B with design enhancements.
Collaborate closely within the web-core team.
Profile code performance and optimize for efficiency.
Engage in troubleshooting and debugging as required.
Contribute to maintainable and scalable code architecture.
Communicate effectively within the team regarding progress and challenges.
Key Requirements
Extensive experience with PHP/Laravel or other programming languages such as Ruby, Python, Kotlin, Java.
Proven expertise in Vue.js or other frameworks such as Angular, React
Strong backend and frontend development skills.
Ability to understand and work with legacy code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Experience from tech savy organisations
Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
Experience with DevOps practices.
