Full Stack Developer

An exciting opportunity to join a Compliance Fintech Start-up as a full stack developer.

You will lead and support from design through to delivery working with Product Managers and Front end Developers.

Must have previous experience of working for a start-up

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Enthusiastic about constantly evolving the world of front-end web and mobile technologies

• Expert skill in React or Angular 7/8/9, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, writing standards-compliant code from scratch

• Love working on a team of highly skilled people, all with strong opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches to delivery

• Able to articulate your ideas to your colleagues effectively and will take on board the ideas of others

• Strong portfolio of work showing experience developing standards-compliant front-end code for product, web applications, and/or mobile experiences

• Expertise working within modern JS frameworks and libraries like – Ionic framework, ReactJS, ElectronJS, NodeJS, Express JS, jQuery with the ability to weigh their pros and cons, and the willingness to rotate between them as needed

• Working with API's and third-party integrations

• Strong understanding of responsive design and development

• Ability to setup, configure, deploy servers and continuous deployments and other automated deployment

• Experience with test-driven development and basic understanding of QA Processes

• Hands-on Python, PySpark, Databricks, SQL, NoSQL, AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS), and CI-CD tools.

• Professional experience in Python development, with a focus on microservices development

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and its frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) for microservices development.

• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

• Familiarity with database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL. Should be aware of normal forms, ACID, isolation levels, index anatomy

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

• Take part in architectural decision

• Playing an active role in designing, improving and most importantly securing the overall backend architecture to support massive growth in users and products without compromise.

• Automated tests (unit, integration and functional).

• Participate in the continuous and common effort of test coverage, refactoring and documentation.

• Flexible and open-minded personality and comfortable working in a multicultural environment and in English.
