Job Description

We are seeking a talented and versatile Full-Stack Developer to build, scale, and maintain modern web applications. You will work across the entire stack, pairing a Next.js front-end with a decoupled Django REST API back-end, while managing database layers, containerized infrastructure, and application networking.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive front-end user interfaces using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

● Design, build, and document secure, high-performance RESTful APIs using Python and Django (e.g., Django REST Framework).

● Architect database schemas in PostgreSQL (SQL) and implement caching, session management, or pub/sub capabilities using Redis (NoSQL).

● Containerize application services and manage multi-container developer/production environments using Docker and Docker Compose.

● Handle basic application networking setup, including TCP/IP configurations, port management, port forwarding, and reverse proxies (e.g., Nginx).

● Collaborate on system architecture, design patterns, and end-to-end integration between front-end interfaces and back-end API services.

Required Qualifications & Experience

● Front-End: 3+ years of experience building modern web applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

● Back-End / API: Solid background building decoupled back-end API services using Python and Django (DRF or similar API frameworks).

● Databases: Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching or key-value storage solutions (Redis).

● DevOps & Containers: Practical experience with Docker and Docker Compose for service containerization and orchestration.

● Networking: Good foundational understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, port forwarding, DNS, and CORS handling).

● General: Strong understanding of REST API design principles, state management, asynchronous programming, and Git workflows.

● Soft Skills: Good problem-solving skills, a proactive "get-hands-dirty" mindset, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Language: Good in written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese is highly preferred.

Nice to Have

● Experience with Computer Vision AI models (e.g., PyTorch, OpenCV, YOLO)—specifically training, fine-tuning, or serving inference endpoints via APIs.

● Familiarity with Figma (UI/UX design) or basic knowledge of converting Figma designs into pixel-perfect web components.
