Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Full Stack Developer specializing in Java, Python, and Spring Boot. The developer will design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications, implementing robust back-end services and responsive front-end interfaces. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, testable code, integrating APIs, working with databases, and optimizing application performance and security. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to technical documentation and deployment processes.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Full-Stack Development, with experience combining Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development to deliver complete solutions.
- Hands-on Software Development experience using Java and Python, including building and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Practical knowledge of Spring Boot and related Java frameworks for creating RESTful services and microservices.
- Front-end skills using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and modern HTML/JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue) for responsive interfaces.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, SQL, and data modeling, as well as API integration and JSON/XML.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, write unit and integration tests, and follow secure coding and performance optimization practices.
- Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear communication, time management, and working within agile or scrum teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
