Full Stack Developer (Android & Backend)

Salary: RM 7,000 – RM 10,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Full Stack Developer to join a global technology team delivering innovative digital solutions for international business operations.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern engineering practices and cloud-native technologies. You will have the opportunity to contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Android mobile applications.

• Implement clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.

• Optimize mobile application performance, reliability, and user experience.

• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and third-party services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.

Backend Development

• Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.

• Build and maintain microservices using modern backend technologies.

• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.

• Develop integration services connecting multiple systems and platforms.

• Support database design and optimization activities.

Agile Delivery

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery through automated and manual testing.

• Contribute to backlog estimation and sprint commitments.

DevOps & Cloud

• Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain deployment pipelines.

• Participate in cloud deployment and monitoring activities.

• Support incident investigation, root cause analysis, and production fixes.

Technical Excellence

• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards and software development guidelines.

• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions.

• Mentor junior developers where applicable.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.

• Minimum 3 years of Android application development experience.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale or customer-facing digital applications.

• Experience working in cross-functional and distributed teams.
