FULL STACK DEVELOPER

Responsible for the design and development of the front-end and the back-end of an application while ensuring its efficiency, reliability, and other crucial features.

Duties & Responsibilities

Core Functions

• Provides technical leadership and guidance to the development team
• Stays abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in full-stack development.

• Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to plan and estimate development tasks.
• Ensures the successful execution of projects by managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.

• Promotes and participates in quality assurance and testing processes.

• Develops visually appealing and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
• Writes client-side scripts using JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to handle user interactions and enhance the overall user experience.
• Integrates design elements into web applications while collaborating with Business Analysts to ensure a seamless user experience.

• Develops server-side logic using programming, low-code, or other languages while implementing business logic and data processing.
• Designs and implements database schemas in collaboration with Database Administrators, perform queries, updates, and maintenance, and work with various database systems.

• Creates and maintains RESTful APIs or other web services to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end components while ensuring proper API documentation.

• Uses version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate with team members.

• Performs unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the application.
• Collaborates with the Quality Assurance Team to write and maintain test cases.

• Implements security best practices for both front-end and back-end development.
• Addresses security vulnerabilities and ensure data protection.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end components proactively.
• Optimizes code and database queries for improved efficiency

• Collaborates with different ISD teams to maximize investment and minimize cost on development and implementation.

• Adheres to the project management process for a cost-efficient process.

• Works closely with project managers, business analysts, quality assurance, and other developers while communicating effectively and contributing to the improvement of development processes.

• Debugs and troubleshoots issues across the entire application stack.

• Identify and implements solutions to complex technical problems.
• Supports the Level 1, 2 and or 3 system support.

• Assists in troubleshooting technical issues and provide guidance for resolution while working closely with the team to identify and address technical challenges.

• Ensures thorough documentation of code, architecture, and development processes while facilitating knowledge transfer within the team.

Job Specifications / Requirements

Educational Background:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and other IT related courses

Work Experience:

Must have at least four (4) years of work-related experience in a related field.
