Full Stack Developer Azure Databricks : Global Energy Co

Exciting Contract opportunity for a Fullstack Software Developer to join this global Energy company.

This is an exciting time to join this world-leading Energy company as it evolves from a traditional Oil & Gas enterprise into a future-focused Energy leader.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, experience with cloud platforms and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while supporting technical delivery.

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: React / Angular / Vue, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid experience in back-end technologies: Node.js / .NET / Java / Python, REST APIs, GraphQL
• Strong understanding of databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, ideally Azure or AWS

Preferred Experience

• 5-6 years of professional full-stack development experience
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, or serverless technologies
• Exposure to security practices, OAuth2, SSO, and secure coding principles
• Prior experience mentoring teams or supporting development streams

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
