Summary
Full stack developer with a backend focus (70% backend / 30% frontend) joining a hybrid Charlotte team in an AI-driven development environment. Day to day: building backend services, database functionality, and RESTful APIs with Python or Rust, strong SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred), plus some frontend work.

Position: Full Stack Developer – Backend Focus
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days wfh)
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong backend skills to join a fast-paced team working in an AI-driven development environment. This role involves approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend development, with a focus on databases, APIs, and delivering practical business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, asking questions to clarify needs and contributing to solution design.
- Develop and enhance backend services, database functionality, and RESTful APIs.
- Contribute to frontend development as part of end-to-end application delivery.
- Incorporate AI into development workflows and implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver quality work within aggressive timelines.
What we’re looking for:
- Approximately 2–3 years of relevant professional development experience.
- Strong backend development experience, particularly in database-related work.
- Hands-on experience with Python or Rust—at least one is required.
- Strong SQL and database skills.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; AWS is preferred.
- Experience developing or integrating RESTful APIs.
- Meaningful experience incorporating AI into actual development work or implemented solutions, ideally involving projects that reached production.
Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, or financial services is a plus.
