Full-Stack Developer (Based in Manila)

As a Full-Stack PHP Developer, you will build backend-led product capabilities for a global travel platform. You will work across the stack, but PHP/Laravel, integrations, data, and reliable backend delivery are central to the role.

• Build new features and third-party integrations across the back end and front end.
• Develop and maintain PHP/Laravel services and React interfaces.
• Design and manage RESTful APIs and integrations with other systems.
• Develop and optimise relational databases, supporting reliable schema changes and query performance.
• Create and maintain automated tests to support reliable, efficient software.
• Resolve defects, improve system reliability, and address technical debt.
• Refine user stories and tasks so work is clear, practical, and actionable.
• Work with command and event buses in an event-driven architecture.
• Contribute to a hybrid ecosystem of monoliths and microservices running on Kubernetes in AWS.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design, clear domain separation, and low coupling.
• Conduct thoughtful code reviews and help maintain a clear, maintainable codebase.

• You have credible commercial PHP/Laravel experience, clearly demonstrated in your recent work.
• Backend development is your main strength. You are comfortable with React and frontend delivery, but you are not primarily a frontend developer.
• You have practical experience with relational databases, production REST APIs, and secure web-development practices.
• You write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and take responsibility for the quality and reliability of what you ship.
• You can explain the technologies you have used in production and the specific contribution you made to recent projects.
• You work effectively in a team and can independently own substantial work in high-availability SaaS products.
• You communicate technical choices clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
• You are autonomous, self-driven, and comfortable in a dynamic, technically complex international environment.
