Full Stack Developer

Salary: £25,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of professional full stack development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, Nest.js, React / React Native, Node.js and Express.js, Tailwind CSS, MongoDB, and Sequelize.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and implementing secure authentication such as JWT, OAuth, Auth0, or similar.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment providers such as Stripe.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Desirable: experience with Docker and containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices.
• Desirable: exposure to AI-powered applications or automation tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance modern web and mobile applications.
• Build responsive, intuitive interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Follow development standards and coding best practices.
• Develop secure applications using security by design principles.
• Support testing, bug fixing, and production issue resolution.
• Work closely with the CTO, lead developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA testers, and infrastructure teams.
• Take ownership of the quality of our work.
• Build software with security, resilience, and maintainability in mind.
• Collaborate openly across teams.
• Continuously learn and improve.
• Focus on solving customer problems rather than simply completing development tasks.
