About the Job

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer – Biometrics to join a technology project focused on the development, maintenance, and evolution of biometric solutions within the banking and financial services industry.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java/Spring Boot and Angular, database development with Oracle, CI/CD and containerized environments, as well as a solid understanding of software development methodologies and production processes.

Location & Work Scheme

• Location: Querétaro or Santa Fe, Mexico

• Work scheme: Hybrid

• On-site: 3 days per week at the client's offices

• Working hours: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM

• Availability: Flexibility for extended hours according to project demand

Banking Industry & Process Experience

Mandatory experience in the banking or financial services industry, with knowledge of enterprise software development processes and methodologies, including:

• Experience with production release and deployment management.

• Knowledge of production release processes, approvals, and change management.

• Experience addressing security vulnerabilities and performing code reviews using tools such as SonarQube and/or Fortify.

• Experience with production incident management, including analysis, resolution, and follow-up.

• Experience working with critical applications and high-availability environments.

• Understanding of security, compliance, and governance standards within the banking/financial industry.

• Ability to collaborate with technical, functional, security, infrastructure, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Full Stack applications supporting biometric solutions.

• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build and maintain frontend components using Angular.

• Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL queries and database components.

• Implement integrations and APIs following enterprise development standards.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with quality and security standards.

• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities reported through SonarQube/Fortify.

• Participate in production releases and deployments.

• Analyze and resolve production incidents, ensuring proper follow-up and documentation.

• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies, planning, estimation, and delivery activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

Experience

5+ years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in Java Full Stack development and enterprise environments.

Mandatory: Previous experience working in the banking or financial services industry, preferably in projects involving critical applications, production environments, security standards, and high-volume or high-availability systems.
