Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing digital applications supporting public sector and enterprise transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, architects, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to deliver user-centric digital solutions across web and cloud platforms.

This role involves developing both front-end and back-end components, integrating systems and APIs, and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications and digital services.
  • Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  • Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, designers, and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations with internal and external platforms.
  • Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical reviews.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support user acceptance testing activities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure applications comply with security, governance, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and best engineering practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and deployment procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in software application development across frontend and backend technologies.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript or TypeScript development.
  • Experience developing web applications using React or similar frontend frameworks.
  • Experience developing backend services using Node.js or similar backend technologies.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integration concepts.
  • Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with source code management and version control tools such as Git.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience building containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Experience developing applications within government, healthcare, banking, or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of secure application development and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience working with public-facing digital services and citizen-centric applications.
