Requirements

  • 7+ years of Python development, including pandas, requests, openpyxl, and regex
  • Ability to own a production codebase end to end
  • Solid Snowflake SQL, including joins, CTEs, window functions, INSERT, MERGE, and TRUNCATE/INSERT
  • Proven ability to design data pipelines from scratch, select batch versus event-driven processing models, choose appropriate AWS services, and defend architecture decisions adopted by a team
  • REST API experience with OAuth2, pagination, rate limiting, and JSON/XML parsing
  • Full-stack capability using a Python backend (Flask or FastAPI) with HTML/JavaScript frontend
  • Hands-on AWS data pipeline architecture experience with Lambda, Step Functions or Glue, ECS/Fargate or EC2, S3, Secrets Manager, and EventBridge
  • Demonstrated production experience using LLMs such as Claude, Copilot, GPT-4, or equivalent as active co-authors
  • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Devin, or similar
  • Ability to reverse-engineer undocumented legacy workflows and exactly reproduce their outputs in a new stack
  • Git proficiency with branching, pull requests, and versioned releases
  • Production-scale pipeline experience serving multiple consumers on a defined schedule with SLA implications and production debugging experience
  • Microsoft Graph API experience, including SharePoint file writes, list operations, and email dispatch
  • Snowflake architecture experience, including table structures, roles and grants, compute sizing, cloning, or time travel in production
  • Experience building self-service data tools or internal operations tooling for non-technical users
  • Familiarity with Alteryx Designer
  • Workflow orchestration experience with Airflow, Prefect, or AWS Step Functions, including production DAGs with task dependencies, retry logic, and failure alerting
