Full Stack Developer
Summary
12-month fixed-term contract (3 days/week onsite in London) building a greenfield trading platform for a financial services business. Front-end heavy: real-time trading UIs with Next.js/React/TypeScript and AG Grid, plus backend work in C#/.NET 8 and Python with microservices, messaging, and AWS/Azure tooling.
We're recruiting an experienced Full Stack Developer to help build a greenfield trading platform for a financial services business.
This is a full-stack role with a strong front-end/UI emphasis. You'll lead on responsive, real-time trading interfaces using Next.js and React, while also contributing to backend services, APIs and integrations.
It is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract requiring 3 days per week onsite.
Key requirements
- Strong trading application UI experience using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Web Components and AG Grid.
- Real-time communication using WebSocket or SignalR.
- Backend development with C#, .NET 8, Python, RESTful APIs and Web API.
- Distributed systems and microservices, with RabbitMQ or Kafka messaging.
- Experience with Redis caching and Protobuf.
- SQL Server, AWS RDS and MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
- Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and Jira.
You'll work closely with business users to prototype interfaces, deliver features, write integration tests and support production systems within a small Agile team.
Ideally, you'll bring 6-8 years' UI experience, alongside 2-3 years of backend development.
Desirable
Docker, Kubernetes, FIX protocol, FX Options/Forwards, and integrations with Monday.com or Confluence.
