Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive web applications, encompassing both frontend and backend components.
• Design and implement efficient database schemas and queries.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong backend development experience with languages like Python, Java, Node.js, or C#.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of software development principles and methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, beneficial for collaboration in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal .
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
