Full-Stack Developer
Summary
Full-Stack Developer at Lyyti working on the Event Management System and mobile apps, using Flutter, Firebase, MariaDB, Valkey, GitHub Actions, Cypress, Jest, PHPStan, and AI tools like Claude to build and maintain features end-to-end.
Location: Turku, Helsinki or remotely with frequent office visits
Team: Product team
We are looking for two Full-Stack Developers to join our Product Team at Lyyti.
At Lyyti, the customer comes first, and this is a rule we live by in all our activities. To offer an intuitive, modern and easy-to-use SaaS product, we design and develop our software continuously. Our great product doesn't happen by magic: it is designed, built with quality in mind, tested with users, and improved over time.
Team and role
Our Product Team develops and manages the Lyyti Event Management System and the organiser and participant mobile apps that accompany it. The team consists of Designers, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Leads, currently divided into three teams. Product Leads, together with the self-organised development teams, handle day-to-day operations. The traditional line management model has been tossed aside and replaced with a people-coach model that supports well-being and professional development.
We are currently focusing on building new AI-based features for our users, expanding our event app (mobile) features, and doing continuous, small-scale development and upkeep while modernising the more legacy parts of our codebase. In the Full-Stack Developer role, you will work across the entire stack — frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and infrastructure — taking responsibility for the whole chain from UI to deployment. You'll own features end-to-end and collaborate closely with your team. The exact scope of the role will be shaped by the team you join and what they are working on at the time.
- Mobile: Flutter, Firebase (Cloud Functions in TypeScript)
- Databases & caching: MariaDB, Valkey
- CI/CD & testing: GitHub Actions, Cypress, Jest, PHPUnit, PHPStan
- AI tooling: Claude Code and Claude Design
Why Lyyti?
Lyyti is the leading Nordic event platform, helping companies create more meaningful encounters. Our platform is trusted by brands like American Express, Warner Bros., Discovery, and Air France-KLM to power their event creation and management. Events aren't just part of our product — they're at the core of who we are.
Lyyti is a Turku-born team that dreams big, keeps work-life balance sacred, and gives you real room to grow. We're a Turku-born team and we even wrote a book about it: The Green Book of Lyyti. Our company culture isn't a poster on the wall, but instead something we actually live by. We are a Turku-born team that dreams big, keeps work-life balance sacred, and gives you real room to grow. Don't just take our word for it: we've been certified as a Future Workplace three years running.
Who you are
We are looking for someone who masters the full-stack approach, whether you have been practising it for longer or have more recently made it your way of working. You might have started as a frontend or backend developer and gradually expanded your scope. Or full-stack has simply always been your natural way of working. What matters is that you are comfortable moving across the entire stack and ready to jump into whatever needs to be done.
We are also actively using AI tooling to improve how we work. You don't need to come in as an AI expert, but we expect you to have built a solid personal foundation for using AI in your daily work, and to be actively developing it further as the field moves fast.
What you bring
- Solid full-stack experience across frontend, backend, databases, and APIs
- Proficiency in modern web frameworks
- Ability to work with legacy codebases
- Experience with test automation
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- A solid personal foundation for using AI in daily development work, and the drive to keep building on it
- Fluent written and spoken English is required (Finnish is not)
Considered a plus
- Experience with mobile app development
- Experience with our specific stack (you don’t need to tick all boxes!)
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience building AI-assisted features
What we offer you
- A full-time and permanent position
- Stability and safety of a mature SaaS product business
- Great colleagues and the opportunity to be part of our international team of Lyytians
- Modern tools and working environment
- Modern office space at the heart of Turku or Helsinki, and a possibility to work from an independent location*. We also have offices in Stockholm and Paris.
- Possibility to use our amazing HQ in Turku for your private events
- A good coverage of useful benefits: Edenred lunch benefit, Epassi Flex ( € 400/year), Auntie service, work ability insurance, broad health care package, bike benefit, etc.
- Salary range: €5000-5500/month
*We have flexible working arrangements and the possibility to work remotely, with frequent visits to the office.
