Full stack developer - fintech

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and talented Full Stack Developer to join their innovative team in Centurion. This position is crucial for developing and enhancing sophisticated financial technology (Fintech ) applications that serve a broad customer base. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from front-end user interface design to back-end service implementation and database management. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Build and maintain robust, scalable back-end services and APIs using languages like Java, Python, or Node.js. Work with databases, including relational (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and No SQL (e.g., Mongo DB) solutions. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into high-quality code. Implement and ensure adherence to security best practices throughout the development process. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the delivery of reliable software. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer. Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script) and at least one modern framework. Strong experience with back-end development, API design, and database management. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Dev Ops practices is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for building exceptional user experiences in the Fintech space.
