Develop and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices, integrating frontend technologies to deliver seamless user experiences. Collaborate in Agile teams to support business goals and stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Java applications using versions 8, 11, and 17+ to ensure robust backend functionality
  • Implement and manage Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security frameworks to build secure and efficient services
  • Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs and microservices to support scalable system architecture
  • Build and enhance frontend components using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap/Material UI for responsive user interfaces
  • Develop and integrate Micro Frontend (MFE) applications using React to enable modular frontend architecture
  • Manage application state using Redux or Context API to maintain consistent user experience
  • Utilize Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL databases to design and optimize data storage and retrieval
  • Use Git and version control systems to manage source code and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Employ Maven or Gradle build tools to automate project builds and dependency management
  • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver iterative software improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in Chinese to support business and stakeholder interactions
  • Willingness to be based in Singapore
