full stack developer for workflow automation

Box is a leader in Intelligent Content Management. Its platform helps organizations collaborate, manage content lifecycles, secure critical information, and transform business workflows with enterprise AI. The Automate team develops a workflow automation platform that enables millions of users to automate complex business processes without writing code.

Задачи:

• Design and implement full-stack features for the Box Automate platform using Java and React/TypeScript;
• Develop and optimize backend services for workflow automation across distributed systems;
• Build responsive user interfaces for creating, configuring, and monitoring automated workflows;
• Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to define requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver features on schedule;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and architectural decisions;
• Mentor junior engineers;
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to and triage issues while on call;
• Attend weekly stand-ups, team meetings, and manager 1:1s.

Требования:

• 3+ Years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack expertise;
• Strong proficiency in Java and React/TypeScript;
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, REST APIs, and modern web development patterns;
• Experience building scalable backend systems, including database design, caching strategies, and asynchronous processing;
• Ability to assess, communicate, and complete project milestones with managers and team members in a time-sensitive environment;
• Fluent English proficiency, written and verbal;
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Nice to have: workflow automation, business process management or integration platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, DevOps practices, leading cross-functional projects, mentoring junior engineers, enterprise integrations, API design, open-source contributions, software craftsmanship.
