Full Stack Developer, Front-End & User Experience - Digital & Artificial Intelligence

Overview

As part of our Digital & Artificial Intelligence Department, you’ll work in an environment that encourages creativity and rewards excellence. You will bring AI-enabled applications to life by transforming business needs and UI/UX concepts into intuitive, responsive, and visually compelling digital experiences. With expertise in modern front-end frameworks and a strong product mindset, you will play a key role in making AI solutions easy to use, trustworthy, and impactful. While your primary focus will be front-end development and user experience, an understanding of back-end systems, APIs, and AI services is an important asset.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Design and implement dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React, Angular, Blazor, or similar modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, business stakeholders, and product owners to translate concepts, wireframes, and user journeys into functional application code.
• Build front-end experiences for AI-enabled applications, including copilots, chat interfaces, knowledge search, workflow tools, and human-in-the-loop review screens.
• Ensure seamless integration of front-end components with back-end systems, APIs, identity services, and approved AI services.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, accessibility, usability, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Work closely with back-end developers and AI engineers to deliver end-to-end functionality for enterprise applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code that follows internal standards and modern software development practices.
• Implement testing strategies to ensure reliability, accessibility, and performance of front-end components.
• Stay updated on the latest front-end technologies, design systems, AI product patterns, and user experience best practices.
• Proactively suggest improvements to user interfaces, user workflows, and AI interactions to increase adoption and business value.
• Contribute to the development of reusable UI components and design patterns for the AI & Automation Center of Excellence.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
• You have 2 to 5 years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack development, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive and interactive applications.
• You have hands-on experience with React, Angular, Blazor, or similar frameworks in building modern web applications.
• You possess strong familiarity with UI/UX design principles and experience translating design prototypes into functional code.
• You have project delivery experience in using AI assistants for UX/UI development.
• You are autonomous, innovative, dynamic, and comfortable working in an evolving AI application development environment.
• You possess a strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and front-end state management.
• You have experience integrating front-end applications with APIs, cloud services, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Azure, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Graph, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or equivalent AI/application platforms is considered an asset.
• You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with designers, developers, architects, business users, and stakeholders.
• You possess attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics, usability, and user adoption.
• You possess a demonstrated passion for staying ahead of industry trends and bringing fresh ideas to complex problems.
• You have an interest in incorporating AI-driven elements into user interfaces, which is a strong asset.
• You have the ability to communicate in both French and English in a business context.
