Summary
A hands-on full stack developer role building and shipping high-traffic SaaS web applications end-to-end, from concept to deployment. Day to day you write TypeScript across the stack with React, Next.js, Node.js and Nest.js, design PostgreSQL databases, deploy on Azure, and mentor other developers.
In this role you will design and deliver scalable web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js and Nest.js. You will own features end-to-end from concept to deployment, shaping engineering standards and mentoring peers. You will collaborate with Product and Design to create strong user experiences and contribute to deploying and maintaining services in Azure. This is a hands-on position in a growing engineering team building high-traffic SaaS products with impact across the lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain modern web apps using React, Next.js, Node.js and Nest.js
- Develop scalable backend APIs and services
- Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases
- Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure
- Write clean, well-tested TypeScript code
- Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver high-quality experiences
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers
- 5+ years of commercial full stack development experience
- Strong experience with React, Node.js, Next.js, Nest.js and TypeScript
- Experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of testing frameworks: Jest, Playwright, Cypress or React Testing Library
- Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
