Develop, enhance, maintain, and support web applications using PHP/Laravel.

Develop backend services, frontend interfaces, REST APIs, and system integrations.

Design, develop, and optimise databases, primarily MySQL.

Support Java-based applications and services where required.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance and reliability.

Apply good practices in coding, testing, Git/version control, documentation, and application security.

2. GenCode Product Development

Develop, enhance, maintain, and support GenCode’s digital products and platforms.

Support the continuous development and enhancement of GenBlu, particularly its loyalty and customer engagement capabilities.

Support new product development, system enhancements, and commercialisation initiatives.

3. Integration & Platform Development

Develop and maintain integrations with ERP, CRM, Data Lake, payment platforms, third-party systems, and enterprise applications.

Build and maintain reliable APIs and data services across GenCode platforms.

Support applications deployed on

AWS and other cloud environments.

Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

4. AI-Assisted Development

Utilise AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent tools to improve development productivity.

Leverage AI for code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and optimisation.

Adopt modern AI-assisted software engineering practices to improve development efficiency and code quality.

Support the integration of AI/LLM and Agentic AI capabilities into GenCode products where applicable.

Work closely with Product, UI/UX, DevOps, AI, Project Management, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Translate business and functional requirements into practical technical solutions.

Participate in technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Contribute ideas for product enhancement, technology improvement, and development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Stack Development

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in full stack or software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel Framework.
• Good knowledge of MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Good understanding ofREST API, web services, and system integration.
• Knowledge or experience in Java is an advantage.
• Experience with Git/version control and software development lifecycle practices.
• Knowledge of AWS/cloud platforms is an advantage.
