Full Stack Developer

The Role:

Mid-level full-stack developer. Initially focused on the frontend and gradually assuming responsibility for building complete, end-to-end features.

Required:

• Full-stack experience
• Clojurescript
• Reagent / Re-Frame
• Python
• SQL
• Linux familiarity
• Interested in Gybe’s domain (Remote sensing, water, environmental science)
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

• Flask
• SQLAlchemy
• GIS experience
• AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, RDS, batch, etc)
• Interest in data visualization
• OLAP
• Openlayers / GeoTIFFs / Tileservers - this would all be a big plus ++
• Data science / ML experience

Temperament:

• We are a remote, widely distributed, international team. This work requires a level of self-motivation and desire to learn / grow.
• Strong communication skills will be important. Ask for help, don’t get stuck in silence.
• Can deal with changing priorities and adapting to new situations.
• We are pre-product-market-fit so we need to be able to move fast and release often.
