Full Stack Developer – Healthcare Projects
Summary
Builds and maintains full-stack applications supporting healthcare services in Brussels (hybrid) on a ~5-month assignment: Java, Angular, Spring Boot, OpenShift, PostgreSQL and REST APIs in an agile/Scrum team. Freelance or employed via HumanInTech.
What you will do
You will join the healthcare domain to work on various projects as a full stack developer. Your work will focus on building and maintaining applications that support healthcare services.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing full stack applications using Java and Angular
- Working with Spring Boot, OpenShift, PostgreSQL and REST APIs
- Implementing service-oriented and microservice architectures
- Applying best practices in software development
- Collaborating in an agile, Scrum-based environment
- Using tools such as Docker, Git, OpenAPI and Jira/Confluence
What we are looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in Java and Angular development
- Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture
- Confirmed experience with the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, OpenShift, PostgreSQL, REST, OpenAPI, Docker, Git
- Confirmed experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Understanding of microservice architecture, web services and RESTful API design
- Experience with relational databases and Maven
- Familiarity with agile and Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of FHIR is a plus
- Active knowledge of Dutch, English and French
The setting
This assignment runs for 5 months, starting as soon as possible and ending on 31 March 2027. The role is based in Brussels with a hybrid working arrangement.
