An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a well-established, technology-driven organisation within the fintech and payments space. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale platforms, building and enhancing high-performance applications that process large volumes of data in a secure, regulated environment.
The position is currently hybrid, with a longer-term plan to transition to a fully remote working model. Candidates can be based in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
What you''ll be doing
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise web applications and backend services.
- Build scalable SQL Server database solutions, including T-SQL stored procedures and performance optimisation.
- Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript and ASP.NET.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Perform testing, debugging and application support to ensure system stability and performance.
- Contribute to secure software development aligned with industry best practices.
- Participate in Agile development processes and continuously improve existing products.
What we''re looking for
- 5+ years'' experience with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced T-SQL development.
- 3+ years'' experience developing modern web applications using ASP.NET, Angular, TypeScript and Bootstrap.
- Experience working on enterprise or financial systems.
- Strong understanding of database optimisation, software architecture and secure coding principles.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- A proactive problem-solver with excellent analytical and communication skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
