Full Stack Developer Intern
Summary
Internship building modern web applications: developing responsive UIs with React.js and Next.js, building and integrating REST APIs with Node.js and Express.js, working with MongoDB or PostgreSQL, fixing bugs, and collaborating with the team while gaining hands-on, mentored experience.
We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer Intern who is interested in building modern web applications using React.js, Next.js, and Node.js.
You will work closely with experienced developers to develop new features, integrate APIs, fix bugs, and improve application performance while gaining hands-on experience with real-world development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
- Build and integrate REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with existing codebases and contribute to new features and modules.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Debug and resolve frontend and backend issues.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Work with Git and GitHub for version control.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members.
- Learn and apply modern development practices throughout the internship.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with React.js.
- Basic knowledge of Next.js.
- Understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and API integration.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Basic understanding of databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of Redux, Zustand, or other state-management libraries.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or other UI frameworks.
- Basic understanding of AWS or cloud services.
- Knowledge of authentication technologies such as JWT or OAuth.
- Personal, academic, or open-source projects using React.js, Next.js, or Node.js.
