Full Stack Developer
Summary
Full Stack Developer building and maintaining web applications with a Java backend (RESTful APIs, services) and JavaScript frontends (React/Angular/Vue an advantage). 4+ years experience required, working in Agile/Scrum teams on a 6-month to 1-year project-based contract, fully on-site in Makati City.
Salary: ₱90,000 – ₱100,000 per month
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with at least 4 years of professional experience in Java Backend Development, JavaScript Programming, and Agile Software Development Methodologies.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing and maintaining web applications, building backend services, integrating APIs, and creating responsive frontend interfaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications using Java and JavaScript technologies.
Build and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and server-side application components using Java.
Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
Integrate frontend applications with backend services, databases, and third-party APIs.
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code following established development standards.
Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects and ensure application quality.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
At least 4 years of professional experience in Full Stack Development.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development.
At least 4 years of experience in JavaScript Programming.
At least 4 years of experience working with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
Strong knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and backend application development.
Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices.
Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is an advantage.
Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Familiarity with Git, version control, unit testing, debugging, and code review practices.
Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and software development best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Project-based arrangement (6mos - 1yr contract; with extensions/absorption)
