Full Stack Developer - Laravel/Vue.js (m/f/d)

Alpitronic Americas LLC in Bolzano, Italy, is seeking an experienced backend developer to design, build and maintain scalable RESTful services with PHP and Laravel, and to deliver intuitive frontend features using Vue.js and Vuetify.

You will model data in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, manage AWS and on‑prem environments, and champion clean architecture, SOLID principles and TDD to enable frequent, high‑quality releases.

Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with PHP and Laravel. Build frontend features with Vue.js and Vuetify in collaboration with Product Owner. Model and optimise data storage in PostgreSQL and MongoDB; ensure efficient queries. Manage AWS (EC2, S3) and on-premise environments for reliable deployments. Promote clean architecture and SOLID principles; lead peer reviews. Advocate TDD with comprehensive unit/integration/end-to-end tests. Identify performance bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement. Participate in sprint planning, design workshops; mentor juniors. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Solid hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel, including Eloquent ORM, queues, service providers, and the development of clean, maintainable, and testable code. Strong front-end development experience with Vue.js; experience with Vuetify or a similar component framework is highly desirable. Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, with a solid understanding of data modelling, schema design, indexing, and query optimization. Hands-on experience with Git, modern development workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. Independent, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian and/or German is considered a strong advantage.
