Summary
Builds and maintains full-stack applications using Node.js/TypeScript (backend) and React (frontend), with a focus on cloud-native architectures (AWS) and scalable microservices. Ensures robust system performance through testing, CI/CD, and observability while collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
Role: Full Stack Developer
Type: Contact (6 months and possible extension)
Location: Manchester, UK
Working Model: Hybrid (2 day per week in office)
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Core Tech: Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript on the server side, with solid hands-on experience in React on the frontend.
- Cloud Native: Significant experience building and running production systems on AWS (or major public cloud).
- Architecture: Deep understanding of Microservices and event-driven architectures, including API design and contract management.
- Engineering Best Practices: Strong grounding in testing (Unit/Integration/E2E), CI/CD, and Observability.
- Communication: Excellent ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in e-commerce, search, ranking, or marketplace domains.
- Previous work with User-Generated Content (UGC), reviews, or recommendation engines.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven product development.
