Full stack developer building responsive Angular front ends and Java/Spring Boot REST APIs backed by SQL Server, then deploying them through CI/CD and supporting production. Suited to someone with 5+ years in both Angular/TypeScript and Java/Spring, ideally with credit, lending or banking domain exposure.
Front end
- Build responsive, accessible Angular applications on our in-house Angular design systems.
- Turn business requirements into clear screens and workflows.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for every feature.
Back end
- Design and build REST APIs in Java with Spring Boot.
- Model and query relational data on SQL Server.
- Maintain, enhance and upgrade existing services and integrations.
Delivery and support
- Containerise, build and deploy through CI/CD pipelines.
- Release through controlled change processes.
- Support production: find and fix root cause.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- Angular and TypeScript: 5+ years; signals, RxJS, routing
- Java and Spring Boot: 5+ years; Security, Data JPA, JUnit
- SQL: Relational design and T-SQL on SQL Server
- Docker and CI/CD: TeamCity, Jenkins or similar
- Web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, accessibility, HTTP, auth tokens
- Qualification: IT degree or diploma, or equivalent experience
Advantageous
- Micro-frontends: Native or Module Federation
- Design systems: Component libraries and design tokens
- UI libraries: PrimeNG and Angular Material
- Identity: Active Directory, Windows SSO, JWT
- Legacy Java: JBoss EAP and older Java, for migrations
