Full Stack Developer (.NET Core + Angular / React)
Summary
Builds and runs REST APIs, business logic and integrations with .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core backed by SQL Server, and develops frontend features in Angular or React, taking features end to end from API contract through data access and UI to tests, deployment and production debugging. AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code are part of the daily workflow.
About The Role -
We are looking for a Full Stack
Developer who is strong on the backend with .NET Core and comfortable
working across the application in Angular or React when the feature
demands it. You will build and run REST APIs and business logic for enterprise
clients, work directly with SQL Server, and take features from API contract
through to UI without handing off at the boundary.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain backend services using .NET 8 / ASP.NET
Core - REST APIs, business logic, background jobs and integrations with
third-party systems.
· Design and work with SQL Server - schemas, queries, stored
procedures, indexing, and reading an execution plan to explain why something is
slow.
· Develop frontend features in Angular 16+ or React 18+ - reusable components,
forms and validation, typed API clients, predictable state management, and
clean integration with backend APIs.
· Deliver features end to end - API contract, data access, UI,
tests and deployment - rather than stopping at the layer boundary.
· Maintain and incrementally modernise existing ASP.NET MVC
applications, moving logic into services and APIs without destabilising what is
already in production.
· Debug production issues using structured logs, traces and
metrics (Application Insights, Serilog); find the root cause, ship the fix, and
add the test that would have caught it.
· Write secure, maintainable code - input validation, parameterised
queries, correct error handling, structured logging, and no secrets in source
control.
· Use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) as a
daily tool - and be able to explain, test and defend everything you raise in a pull
request.
· Write unit and integration tests (xUnit / NUnit on the backend;
Jasmine / Karma, Jest or Vitest on the frontend) and keep the CI pipeline
green.
· Participate in code reviews and technical discussions as both an author and a
reviewer.
· Work closely with product, QA and DevOps through the sprint, from
grooming to release.
Mandatory
Requirements:
· Strong C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core - dependency injection,
middleware pipeline, async/await, configuration and options.
· Practical REST API experience - status codes, versioning,
pagination, error contracts and authentication headers.
· Hands-on SQL Server - joins, stored procedures, indexes,
and the ability to read a query plan.
· Working experience with Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
· Strong TypeScript, with production experience in either
Angular (v15 or later) or React 18+ - component design, routing, forms
and validation, state management, and HTTP / API integration.
· Good experience with ASP.NET MVC and legacy application maintenance.
· Solid grounding in OOP, SOLID and common design patterns.
· Git-based workflow - branching, pull requests, code
review and conflict resolution.
· Strong debugging and problem-solving skills - able to work from a
stack trace to a verified fix.
· Clear written and spoken communication in a distributed,
client-facing team.
