Full Stack Developer (Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase)

Summary

Build and maintain modern web apps for European clients using Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, and PostgreSQL, with AI-assisted development workflows.

At Minimum Code, we're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team.

We're a software development agency based in Vienna. We design, build, migrate and maintain modern web applications for startups and businesses across Europe, primarily in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.

We are a team of 9 people working fully remotely from Austria, the UK, Poland, and Ukraine. You will work closely with our Delivery Manager, designers, developers and clients to deliver production ready applications.

Our stack is centered around Next.js, React, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL and Vercel, with Claude Code and Codex as part of our daily development workflow.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, enjoys solving technical problems, and takes pride in building high quality software. We're building an AI native engineering team, so we are looking for developers who embrace AI coding tools to ship faster while still taking ownership of planning, architecture, testing and code quality.

What you will do
Build modern web applications end-to-end, from database design to frontend implementation
Design PostgreSQL schemas, migrations and Row Level Security (RLS) policies in Supabase
Turn Figma designs into responsive interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS
Build APIs, webhooks and background jobs
Migrate legacy applications (PHP, WordPress, low code and custom stacks) to Next.js and Supabase
Use Claude Code and Codex to accelerate development, then review, test and refine the generated code
Write and maintain Playwright end-to-end tests for critical user flows
Deploy to Vercel and collaborate through GitHub using pull requests and code reviews
Investigate and resolve production issues
Work directly with clients to discuss technical solutions, trade-offs and bugs

Requirements
Previous experience working at a software development agency is required. You should be comfortable working across multiple client projects, communicating with clients and switching contexts when needed.
3+ years building production web applications, including significant experience with Next.js and TypeScript
Strong PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design, indexing, queries and Row Level Security
Experience with Supabase or a comparable PostgreSQL backend (authentication, storage, migrations and server-side functions)
Strong React and Tailwind CSS skills with attention to UI quality
Experience with Playwright or another end-to-end testing framework
Daily experience using Git and GitHub
Regular use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, with a good understanding of when they help, and when they don't
Comfortable working in large existing codebases
Strong written and spoken English
Based within a European time zone

Nice to have
Experience migrating legacy applications
Experience with Xano
Familiarity with CI/CD and GitHub Actions

What we offer
Competitive salary
20 days of paid time off, plus the days between Christmas and New Year
