Full Stack Developer

Based in Kuala Lumpur, you’ll join NMG Consulting as a Full Stack Developer and use your Azure expertise to to develop and maintain our internal and client-facing platforms. Working with colleagues around the world, you’ll develop user-friendly solutions, tackle performance and scalability challenges, and help shape how we build our systems. What you’ll do

• Build and enhance digital platforms that support our client experience.

• Work with our Cloud Architect and internal teams to develop secure, scalable cloud solutions.

• Develop reliable backend services that power our applications.

• Improve database performance and reliability as our platforms grow.

• Keep our applications running smoothly through ongoing improvements and technical support.

• Bring projects to life, from understanding business needs through to launch and ongoing support.

• Help shape technical decisions and strengthen development, testing and security practices.

• Explore new technologies, including AI-assisted development, to improve how we build.

What you’ll bring

Essential

• 5+ years of hands-on full stack development experience, including complex production applications.

• Experience delivering cloud-native Azure solutions in a DevOps environment.

• Curiosity, a strong learning mindset and a creative approach to solving problems.

• Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues, strong organisation and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Proven project management skills to keep delivery on track.

Essential technical skills

• You’re confident building with C#/.NET and SQL Server, with advanced skills in EF Core (Code-First, DB-First and Fluent API) and CQRS with MediatR.

• You bring hands-on React experience, using Vite, Material UI, TanStack, Redux Toolkit and Zustand to create intuitive interfaces.

• You have advanced Azure expertise across Entra ID / Entra External ID, VNet, Application Gateway, App Service, API Management, Service Bus and Event Grid, backed by proficiency in Storage Accounts, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Key Vault, Static Web Apps and Functions.

• You’re proficient in managing Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and building data pipelines with source control enabled in Azure Data Factory.

• You’re proficient with AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code and Codex.

Highly desirable

• Prompt engineering: advanced skills in writing Skills, using hooks and connecting MCPs in agentic coding tools.

• Testing: proficiency in Playwright, xUnit, NSubstitute, Fluent Assertions, Testcontainers, Vitest and Jest.

• Security testing: advanced SAST and DAST skills using tools such as SonarQube, Snyk and OWASP ZAP.

• Infrastructure as Code: advanced Terraform skills.

• Other languages: working knowledge of Node.js and Python.
