Full Stack Developer (Node.js & Angular)

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic software development house, is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and Angular to join their innovative team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape . This role involves working on the complete software development lifecycle, from designing and developing robust back-end services using Node.js to building interactive and responsive front-end applications with Angular. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy back-end services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using Angular and associated technologies.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications and code.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Proven expertise in Node.js for back-end development and Angular for front-end development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
