About the role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and operate reliable backend services for high-volume transactional platforms. You will own work from investigation and system design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
The role suits someone who is comfortable solving unfamiliar problems, working independently, and using modern AI-assisted development tools to deliver high-quality results.
Core skills and experience
- Effective use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex, including agent workflows, reusable skills, context management, and output validation
- Strong software-engineering fundamentals with TypeScript and Node.js
- System design for high-volume transactional systems
- Understanding of databases, concurrency, idempotency, reconciliation, security, and failure recovery
- Automated unit, integration, and E2E testing
- Strong debugging skills and end-to-end production ownership
